Background before make-up
(brief version):

I attended 28 schools and had an extremely varied life.

Art was always my favorite subject in which I excelled.

I started work at 14 years of age as a Jillaroo on remote outback cattle stations.

Then I worked as a governess teaching students in remote areas.

Around this time I won the title of Governess of the Year.

Without completing year 9, I went to study and teach.

There was usually a second job like making and selling jewelry or artwork.

At 19, I joined the Royal Australian Army where I worked in Communications and Intelligence for 10 years.

Secondary jobs also held during this time included Disc Jockey and Hospitality, and year 12 was completed at night school.

Other work includes contracts for the U.N, Australian Defence Industries, Boeing and bottle shop management.

I owned my own successful surf shop business for 3 years.

Studied graphic design, then worked in the industry for a year before deciding it was not for me.

I have traveled all over Australia and many countries over seas, working with a huge range of people. Therefore I have advanced skills in diplomacy and am open minded.

I love working with creative people and being a member of a team.

My skills and qualifications are many and varied, from demolitions to stained glass designing and making.

Finally, after a lot of soul searching, experience and research, I found what I had been looking for, and completed a Diploma in Cinemagraphic Make-up at the Frampton Institute on the Gold Coast. It makes me extremely happy to have found what I am passionate about, exceptionally great at, and what I want to do for the rest of my life.
